Rubber and colour quality

RME is an excellent solvent and therefore it solves natural rubber and monocomponent lacquer according to the "equal-solves-equal" principle.
Viton rubber, some nitrile rubber, Teflon and plastic tubing are possible to use.

Cleaning of tanks and cisterns

Clean vehicle-and storage tanks before changing the fuel.
Avoid storage in plastic containers outdoors.
Storage tanks should be drained spring and fall.
Assemble filter on the refuelling equipment and/or the storage tank.

Shelf life

Maximum six months.

Cold

RME is sensitive to extreme cold and should therefore not be used if it’s colder then-20° C.
Pure RME could solidify already at -15°C and by -21 °C with winter additive.
